Jay-Z has hip-hop fans listening to the radio the way whole families tuned in to fireside chats decades ago. The MC requested that the next record from The Blueprint 3, "Run This Town," make its radio debut at precisely 9:11 a.m. on Friday (July 24). Jay had teased info on the record earlier this week on Tim Westwood's U.K. radio show, revealing that the Kanye West-produced song featured Rihanna and 'Ye. You can't go wrong with that.

"Run This Town" starts off with Rihanna on the chorus. It's the first new music we've heard from the singer since her drama with Chris Brown in February.

"Feel it coming in the air," she sings. "Hear the screams from everywhere/ I'm addicted to the throne/ It's a dangerous love affair/ Can't be scared when it goes down/ Got a problem, tell me now/ Only thing that's on my mind is who's gonna run this town tonight?/ We gonna run this town."

"Get your fatigues on, all black everything," Jay-Z orders a few seconds into his first verse. He starts off telling the world to pledge their allegiance to Roc Nation before spitting, "Riding with their Dillingers/ I'll get more in Depp/ If you boys really real enough/ This is La Familia, I'll explain later/ But for now let me get back to this paper."

When Jay's verse is done, Rihanna's chorus changes: "Life's a game but it's not fair/ I break the rules, so I don't care/ So I keep doing my own thing/ Walking tall against the rain/ Victory's within the mile."

Jay follows up with more talk of his crew's dominance wherever they go, but still throws in a hip-hop reference: "Please follow the lea-dar/ So Eric B we are/ Microphone fiend/ It's the return of thee God/ Peace God/ Ain't nobody fresher."

Kanye West bats cleanup on the guitar-laden track. "It's crazy how you can go from being Joe Blow/ To everybody on your di--, no homo," Ye starts off. "I bought my whole family whips, no Volvos/ Next time I'm in church, please no photos .../ We give a damn about the drama that your dude bring/ I'm just trying to change the color on your mood ring."

Jay previously released "D.O.A." from The Blueprint 3, which arrives in stores on September 11.
