Shadows Fall, Vampire Weekend and cartoon death metallers Dethklok are among the acts headed to Guitar Hero 5 this month. On January 14th, Vampire Weekend will add three songs from their imminent new album, Contra to the game. The following week, a metal pack with Shadows Fall, Dethklok and Amon Amarth will be available for the game. Other additions in January include a "New Blues Masters" package as well as a Creedence Clearwater Revival set of three songs.

The packages will be $5.49 on PS3, 550 with Wii Points and 440 points on Xbox 360.
