For fans of Lady Gaga, every day is a day to appreciate the pop princess. But her "monsters" decided to formalize their love for all things Gaga and declare Friday (January 29) National Lady Gaga Day.

More than 100,000 of Lady Gaga's fans have taken to the event's Facebook page to declare Friday National Lady Gaga Day. "What better way to celebrate the celebrity that brought us Fame, Sex and Music? And celebrate our 'inner freak' that Gaga allows (and wants) us to be," the page reads. "Basically, this is a day for everyone to celebrate her! Dress like her, sing, dance, have themed parties, wear a Kermit the frog jacket, etc. JUST HAVE FUN!"Their appreciation didn't go unnoticed: Gaga took to her Twitter accountto send a shout out of appreciation to her devoted fans. "Thank u for creating #nationalladygagaday little monsters!" she wrote. "I love u with all my gaga heart. On the set, I feel bad for the bad romance video."

Fans have been commenting on the day's Facebook page about parties they plan to throw in celebration of Gaga., along with comments about how awesome she is.

"I am bleeding glitter, feathers, and silicone for Gaga day!!" one fan, Sierra Paull, wrote on the Facebook wall for the event. Another fan, Mariah Lee, added, "I'm looking and feeling rather Gagalicious today. How about everyone else??"

Gaga will be performing — with Elton John, rumor has it — at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, where she is up for six awards, including Album of the Year for The Fame.
