MySpace has posted a short interview with Fat Mike looking back at his 2006 "feud" with Christian metalcore outfit Underoath. He explained what happened then:

Im not going to make fun of a band if they're not doing anything. But I met the guys [in Underoath] and I was kind of quizzing them in a friendly way. One of them mentioned that he didn't believe in dinosaurs. The guitar player mentioned that he didn't think gay people should be allowed to get married. So I look at it as, 'I'm on tour with a band of bigots every day. I'm not going to just let people hear your bullshit. I went to the prayer group once and it was really just a bunch of confused kids. They had no idea what they were talking about. They were just trying to figure out life.
We don't have any problems [though]. I mean, they did the smart thing and they didn't let me bait them. They just kind of took it in stride.
