'My Time Now' will premiere on Sunday, November 28, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.By Jayson Rodriguez

Nicki Minaj is ready for prime time.
With her singles all over the charts and her debut album Pink Friday dropping next Monday, the Lil Wayne protégé is on the cusp of superstardom. Fittingly, Nicki will also be the subject of the MTV documentary "My Time Now."
The project will premiere on Sunday, November 28, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. It will also be featured on all of the MTV platforms, with exclusive previews on MTVNews.com and RapFix.MTV.com in the days leading up to it.
The doc was produced by @radical.media (who made the Drake doc "Better Than Good Enough" earlier this year) and executive produced by MTV News' Dave Sirulnick.
"Nicki Minaj has quickly emerged as one of the hottest artists in hip-hop and recently was recognized as the first female to ever make our annual Hottest MCs list," Sirulnick explained in a statement. "While her fans have gotten to know her through her music and her various social media channels, this documentary offers the world the first real intimate look at this woman who is on the verge of achieving superstardom."
"My Time Now" will follow Nicki Minaj as she travels across the country on tour and heads into the studio to write and record her Pink Friday hits.
Fans will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Head Barbie in Charge in her over-the-top artist persona and also as an ambitious businessperson and a beloved family member.
Over the course of the hour-long doc — filmed over three months — the femcee will also be seen visiting her native Trinidad for the first time in seven years, purchasing her mother a new house in New York and preparing for her performance during the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show.
In the past 12 months, the lone female MC of Lil Wayne's Young Money crew has emerged as a star in her own right, stealing the spotlight with guest appearances alongside some of the biggest names in music, from Mariah Carey to Kanye West.
Her saucy rhyme styling and animated vocal delivery has earned her high-profile admirers, including Jay-Z, who invited Nicki Minaj to the stage during the New York leg of his and Eminem's Home and Home event earlier this year.
The two collaborated with each other on West's "Monster" track.
"I remember in junior high school and high school, me and my best friend, we were so obsessed with Jay," Nicki told MTV News during an appearance on "RapFix Live" last month.
"I kept thinking that all the people in the game at that time when I was little was gonna be out of the game by the time, if I did get into the game," she added. "I remember I used to be like, 'Dag, I'll never get to work with this one, I'll never get to work with that one,' and just to know that Jay is even saying something or knows me is crazy."
