Online gossip rag TMZ has stoked a little controversy after some footage surfaced of The Aquabats' frontman MC Bat Commander launching a child into a crowd surf. The band has done this frequently over the years and always with the permission of parents, but some commenters called for "the kid should be taken away from that moronic father and put into protective custody while the father is arrested for Child endangerment" while others noted "My son surfed too, and I'm proud of both boys doing something they wanted to do."
