Bright Eyes will be releasing their first new album since 2007's Cassadaga. The record is titled The People's Key and is due out February 15, 2011 via Saddle Creek. The album was recorded in Omaha, NE at ARC Studios, produced by Mike Mogis. The album features guest artists Andy LeMaster of Now It's Overhead, Matt Maginn of Cursive, Carla Azar of Autolux, Clark Baechle of The Faint, Shane Aspegren of The Berg Sans Nipple, Laura Burhenn of The Mynabirds, and Denny Brewer of Refried Ice Cream.
The band was in the news earlier this year after taking a stand against the controversial Arizona immigration law and released a new song to raise money for a charity related to fighting the bill.
