Alkaline Trio co-vocalist Matt Skiba announced via his Twitter account that the band has wrapped up recording their new album. His message read, "Just finished the new trio album down at Hurley! A jingle I wrote for O.E. 800 malt liquor years ago made the cut!"

The band announced late last year that their next effort would be a collection of acoustic songs. Their last album, This Addiction, was released in 2010.
