The Ataris have released a video statement in response to Kris Roe's "chaotic drum freak out" at a recent show. Roe defends his actions and claims that their drummer, Rob Felicetti, had been drinking for "6 hours probably" prior to the show.

Furthermore he announces that The Ataris will be heading to Asia and releasing a new record next year. He also mentions a record being released this year containing older material that has never been released.
