California's This Time Next Year have announced that they will be splitting up after 6 years together. The band has not made any sort of long statement, posting simply to their Facebook page:

We will be playing our last 2 shows December 2nd at the Oakland Metro & December 7th at Chain Reaction. Thank you for the memories. Hope to see you in December. -TTNY

Over the course of their time together, the band released two full-length records and several EPs. Guitarist Ben Wiseman currently performs as part of Misser.
