From NME:
Snow Patrol's fourth album 'Eyes Open' is set to be released in April.
According to frontman Gary Lightbody, the follow up to 2004's 'Final Straw' will be a "bigger and bolder" version of their breakthrough album.
"There were a hell of a lot of chinks in 'Final Straw'," he told NME.COM. "We didn't have a lot of time to do that album and this is why we took longer. We've been able to experiment and elaborate more than we have done before.
"The sound of it is much bigger when it's meant to be bigger, as fragile as eggshells when it's meant to be, too. The contract's a lot bigger this time."
Track set to be included are 'Chasing Cars', 'Open Your Eyes', 'Shut Your Eyes', 'Make This Go On Forever' and 'You Could Be Happy'. The first single is likely to be 'You're All I Have'.
'Make Go This Go On Forever' and 'You Could Be Happy' use a choir of friends and members of other bands. 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar' sees Lightbody duetting with Martha Wainwright.
