Jesse Michaels, frontman of Operation Ivy, Common Rider and Classics Of Love, has announced September 10, 2013 as the release date for his first published novel, Whispering Bodies via Soft Skull Press.

The book stars a character named Roy Belkin who suffers from neuroses and is suspected of murdering his building's maintenance man. A version of the book was previously self-released in very limited quantities last year.

Michaels and former Op Ivy bandmate Tim Armstrong released a single last month called Living in a Dangerous Land.
