Rise Against have won a PETA award for "best Animal Friendly band." The band posted this as a result:

Rise Against was just voted Best Animal-Friendly Band by PETA! Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote online, we weren't expecting it but appreciate it so much. The real heroes here are PETA and animal rights supporters worldwide. The fight continues, and we plan on continuing to be a voice for the voiceless along with all our fans and supporters.
